This is a pattern for a wave skirt using dressmaking wire, as per your request.
Without inserting dressmaking wire, it will become a skirt with plenty of drapes.
Adjust the width of the dressmaking wire according to the thickness of the fabric you're using.
There are adjustment cut lines to allow for making skirts of three lengths: 35cm, 40cm, and 45cm.
The required length of dressmaking wire is also specified according to the length you choose.
Since it's finished using shape memory cords, it's not suitable for everyday wear when made with dressmaking wire as the wire will take on its shape when seated.
When dressmaking wire is inserted, it's mainly intended for use in cosplay costumes or stage costumes.
If dressmaking wire isn't inserted, it can be used as a draped skirt for everyday wear.
Please use flat dressmaking shape memory wire for this purpose.
Creating the wavy pattern involves folding the wire at evenly spaced intervals and then gently spreading each fold with your fingers, which can be quite challenging.
By adjusting the intervals between folding the wire, you can create fine or large waves as seen in the reference photo.
Pairing it with a panier will make the skirt fluffy and adorable.
For this pattern, please use a 22cm invisible zipper.
After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.
The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.
