This is a sewing pattern and tutorial for an open-shoulder cut-and-sew shirt with openings at the shoulders.
The raglan-style shoulder area has large openings. This design is suitable for casual wear, loungewear, and as a base for cosplay costumes.
This is a loose-fitting design with extra ease.
If you want a closer fit, choose one size smaller.
Use a soft knit fabric with a gentle stretch.
For edge finishing, use bias tape made from the same fabric or knit bias tape.
After printing, align the pages along the guide lines, paste them together, and cut out the pattern pieces. Seam allowances are included, so you can use the pattern as-is.
*Please press all sewn seams with an iron.
(1) Finish the bias binding around the sleeve openings first.
(2) Sew the side seams of the Front Bodice and Back Bodice together. Finish the raw edges.
(3) Sew the underarm seams of the Sleeves. Finish the raw edges.
(4) Finish the raw edges of the bodice hem and sleeve hems. Fold to the inside by 1 cm (0.5 in), and topstitch.
(5) Sew the Sleeves to the Bodice. Finish the raw edges.
(6) Finish the neckline with bias tape.
