This is the pattern for the morning coat, which was highly requested.

It features a simple line swallowtail design without darts, making it ideal as a base material.

While it comes with welt pockets, if you choose not to use them, you can easily create dummy pockets.

Although the lining pattern is not included, it's possible to create a lining pattern using the facing lines.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

The production process is explained with translation software.

* When attaching the lining, cut the lining pattern with a 1 cm (or 0.5 in) seam allowance on the facing line.

(1) Make a welt pocket on the bodice.

How to sew Welt pocket

* If the pocket is not needed, attach a dummy pocket.

(2) Serge/overlock the shoulders and sides of the "Front bodice" and "Back bodice," then sew them together. Press the seam allowance (S/A) open with an iron.

How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)

(3) Serge/overlock the back center of the "Back bodice," sew up to the stitching end position, and press the seam allowance (S/A) open with an iron.

(4) Apply fusible interlining to the "Front facing" and "Back facing," sew them together, press the seam allowance (S/A) open with an iron, and serge/overlock the outside.

(5) Sew the "Collar" to the "bodice" and "Facing," press the seam allowance (S/A) open with an iron, and clip any parts where the seam allowance is tight.

(6) After serging/overlocking the hem of the "bodice," sew the "bodice" and "Facing" together, turn it inside out, and shape the tailored collar.

(7) Fold the hem of the "bodice" up by 1 cm (or 0.5 in) and sew with a machine.

(8) Serge/overlock the side and hem of the "Sleeve," sew the side of the "Sleeve" together, and press the seam allowance (S/A) open with an iron.

(9) Fold the hem of the "Sleeve" up by 1 cm (or 0.5 in) with an iron and sew with a machine.

(10) Sew the "Sleeve" to the "bodice" and serge/overlock the armhole.
