This is a free sewing pattern for a simple gathered skirt, perfect for beginners and cosplay costume makers.
The gathered skirt design is very easy to sew — simply gather the fabric and attach it to a waistband. The pattern also includes the waist and hem curves, which can be difficult to draw without a large curved ruler, making this template especially useful.
The most challenging step is attaching the zipper, but with careful sewing it can be done neatly. You can adjust the waistband size to fit your own measurements by enlarging or reducing the pattern.
This skirt works well for everyday fashion as well as costume projects. Choose a fabric you love and try making your own gathered skirt.
After printing, align the join lines and cut along them. The paper pattern includes seam allowances (S/A), so it is ready to use as is.
The production process is explained with translation software.
