This is a free sewing pattern for a lace-up corset designed to fit closely to the body.
The pattern consists of eight separate panels, creating a contoured shape that follows the body’s natural lines.
It is designed for front lace-up closure, but you can also modify it to have a back zipper if preferred.
When making this corset, heavy fusible interfacing is essential to reinforce the eyelet area and keep it stable.
Use this as a base pattern and customize it with your choice of fabrics, trims, or decorative elements.
After printing, align and paste the pages along the matching lines, then cut along the pattern. Seam allowances are already included, so you can start sewing immediately.
The production process is explained with translation software.
If you have any suggestions on how to write like this, please let us know at info@dr-cos.com
We operate this site with your cooperation.
(1) Attach fusible interlining to "Lining Fabric" and attach hard interfacing to the hard interfacing position of "Front Body (Lining Fabric)".
(2) Sew "Front Body", "Front Body (side)", "Back Body (side)" and "Back Body" together.
(3) Iron seam allowances open, press seam allowances open with stitches, and cut off excess seam allowances.
(4) "Lining Fabric" is also made in the process of (2) and (3).
(5) Sew the perimeter of the outer & lining fabrics together with a temporary seam, and bias the perimeter.
(6) Pigeonhole at the pigeonhole position and thread the string through to complete.
* If it is troublesome to unravel the knitted part, open zipper process in the rear center is recommended.
