This is a sewing pattern for a corset designed to closely fit the body shape, using a lace-up structure.
The design is made of 8 panels to create a well-fitted and structured form.
It is worn and removed using laces at the front, but you can also modify it to use a zipper at the back if preferred.
Please note that the firm fusible interfacing listed in the required materials is essential to stabilize the eyelets.
You can use this pattern as a base material and customize it as needed.
After printing, align the pages along the guide lines, tape them together, and cut out the pattern pieces before use.
The seam allowance is already included in the pattern, so you can use it as it is.
(1) Apply fusible interfacing to the lining. Attach firm fusible interfacing to the marked position on the front lining.
(2) Sew the "Front body", "Front side body", "Back side body", "Back body", and "Back center" together.
(3) Press the seam allowances open with an iron, open them with topstitching, and trim the excess seam allowance.
(4) Make the lining in the same way as steps (2) and (3).
(5) Baste the outer fabric and lining together around the edges, then finish the edges with bias tape.
(6) Attach eyelets at the marked positions, then thread the laces to complete.
* If loosening the laced part is troublesome, it is recommended to modify the back center with an open zipper.
