Simple construction steps are included in the paper pattern.
This is a paper pattern for a lace-up vest.
This vest features a lace-up design with princess lines that create a fitted silhouette.
This design is also suitable for Gothic Lolita styles and similar fashion.
Although simple, the pattern is created using three-dimensional tailoring, making it ideal as a base for further customization.
After printing, align and tape the sheets along the guide lines, then cut out the pattern pieces. Seam allowances are already included, so you can use it as is.
(1) Sew the "Front bodice", "Front bodice side", "Back bodice side", and "Back bodice" together.
(2) Press the seam allowances open, then trim the parts where the fabric pulls.
(3) Sew the center back. Press the seam allowances open, then trim the parts where the fabric pulls.
(4) Make the lining in the same way. Join all pieces, press the seam allowances open, and trim the parts where the fabric pulls.
(5) Place the outer fabric and lining with right sides together, then sew around the edges, leaving an opening for turning.
(6) Turn inside out, then stitch around the edges to keep the shape.
(7) Attach eyelets at the eyelet positions, then thread the cord to finish.
* If it is troublesome to undo the lace-up part, an open zipper at the center back is recommended.
