This pattern consists of a stand collar blouse with fluffy puff sleeves and a gathered skirt with a corset.
Highly recommended for use in base fabrication!
This pattern was used in the production of the garment in the reference photo, so I think the lines of the garment come out quite nicely.
I think it can be used for a variety of base costumes.
Please note that the blouse and the corset skirt are not one piece, but two separate patterns.
After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.
The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.
The production process is explained with translation software.
Blouse Making Process
(1) Stitch the darts on the "Front bodice" and press the seam allowance (S/A) towards the front center line with an iron.
(2) Serge/overlock the shoulders and sides of the "Front bodice" and "Back bodice," as well as the sides of the "Sleeve."
How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)
(3) Sew the shoulders of the "Front bodice" and "Back bodice" together and press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(4) Fold the fold line of the armhole trim inward with an iron.
(5) Align the armhole trim to the armhole position and topstitch to secure. *Pre-basting the armhole trim can help prevent shifting*
(6) Stitch the sides of the "Front bodice" and "Back bodice" together and press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(7) Apply fusible interlining to the "Collar stand," then sew it to the "Body" while sandwiching them together, and turn inside out with an iron.
(8) Serge/overlock the hem of the "Body" and fold up 1cm, then sew on a sewing machine.
(9) Process the front hem of the "Body" with bias tape from one side of the "Collar stand" to the opposite side, simultaneously attaching the open zipper. *For fabrics with stretch, apply stay tape at the zipper position.*
(10) Stitch the sides of the "Sleeve" together, press the seam allowance (S/A) open with an iron, and gather at the gathering position.
(11) Stitch the sides of the "Cuff" together, press the seam allowance (S/A) open with an iron, and shape with an iron into a form that can be sandwiched.
(12) Insert the "Cuff" into the "Sleeve" and stitch together.
(13) Attach the "Sleeve" to the "Body," finish the armhole area.
Corset Skirt Making Process
*For ease of attachment, the corset part is made from the same material, but if using a lining with a different fabric, please use one with attachments.*
(1) Sew the corset front, corset front side, corset back side, and corset back together, except for the back center line.
(2) Press open the seam allowance (S/A) with an iron, then topstitch and cut off the excess seam allowance (S/A).
(3) Make the lining with fusible interlining after steps (1) and (2).
*If adding patterns or bias tape decoration to the corset, do so at this stage.*
(4) Fold the back center line of the corset lining by about 12mm with an iron to shape it.
(5) Serge/overlock and stitch together the sides of the skirt front and skirt back, then press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(6) Gather the skirt and stitch it to the front of the corset, then press the seam allowance (S/A) upwards.
(7) Serge/overlock the back center line and apply stay tape, stitch to the sewing stop position, then press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(8) Stitch the sides of the skirt hem decoration together in a loop, fold along the fold line, then stitch the hem and shape with an iron, then stitch the upper side.
*If you want to shape the hem like in the finished photo, insert clothing wire into the hem decoration.*
(9) Sew on the invisible zipper.
(9) Sew the upper side of the right side lining together, then stitch the lining hem.
(10) Hand sew the zipper part of the lining to the "Body".
