Blouse Construction Steps

* If making the heart-shaped cutout on the "Back bodice", make notches in the seam allowance first, fold the seam allowance inward with an iron, and shape it before sewing.

(10) Apply fusible interlining to the "Shoulder strap", fold the iron guide line with an iron, sew the neck-side seam line, then turn it right side out and shape it with an iron.
(11) Insert the gathered upper side of the "Sleeve" into the sleeve side of the "Shoulder strap" and sew them together.
(12) Match the "Sleeve" to the "Body" at the "Shoulder strap" joining position, sandwich the "Sleeve" between the "Body" pieces, then topstitch the upper part of the "Body".
(13) Attach snap buttons at the button positions.
* If using regular buttons, make buttonholes and sew the buttons in place.
Flower Skirt Construction Steps
(1) Finish the edge of the "Hem frill" with rolled hemming, then sew the side seams of the 2 pieces together to make a loop shape.
(2) Finish the side seams of the "Hem gathered frill skirt" and the "Flower skirt".
(3) Apply stay tape to the stay tape positions on the "Hem gathered frill skirt" and the "Flower skirt".
(4) Sew one side seam of the "Flower skirt", then sew the other side up to the sewing stop position. Press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(5) Make notches at the notch positions on the hem of the "Flower skirt", then press the seam allowances toward the right side with an iron.
