We have received numerous requests for tabi socks, so we have produced them.

As the range of sizes is quite broad, it's currently undecided how far we'll go with sizing.

For women's sizes, we're aiming for around 8 sizes, similarly for men's sizes, and children's sizes are yet to be determined.

We're not aiming for the larger EEE sizes commonly available; instead, we're drafting patterns around D to E sizes.

For the metal fasteners (kohaze), we've included 5, but feel free to adjust the number to 3 or 4 as desired.

If you wish to create authentic tabi socks for traditional Japanese attire, please use high-quality thread and materials.

Feel free to create originals with your favorite fabrics or customize them to your liking. We've provided symbols to make the sewing process as easy to follow as possible, so once you get used to it, it should be quite simple.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

How to make Aladdin Pants

The production process is explained with translation software.

(1) Expand the hole at the lace position without tearing the fabric using an awl or similar tool, then thread the lace through with a needle.

(2) Stitch the gap to prevent the threaded lace from shifting once it has been threaded through.

(3) With the right sides together, sew the [A] part of the inner vamp fabric, then turn it inside out and shape it with an iron.

(4) With the right sides together, sew the [B] part of the outer vamp fabric. Attach the facing while hand-sewing the facing position to secure it.

(5) Sew together the [C] parts of the inner and outer vamp fabrics, then turn them inside out and shape them with an iron.

* Steps (1) to (5) are symmetrical for left and right sides and should be made simultaneously.

(6) Apply fusible interlining to the bottom and stitch from the inner vamp to the end of the outer vamp, then serge/overlock the seam allowance (S/A).

(7) Apply topstitching at the turned-out heel position.
