This is the pattern and instructions for a simplified obi made only with a tying band and velcro, suitable for cosplay and similar uses with kimono.

The pattern is for a simplified obi where the obi portion is fastened with velcro only.

When you insert the tying band, it will resemble the reference photo.

Some parts require hand-sewing with stiff fusible interlining, so please use thimbles or finger guards as necessary.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

The production process is explained with translation software.

(1) Apply fusible interlining to the simple belt, the upper part of the tie ribbon, the hanging part of the tie ribbon, and the core of the tie ribbon.

(2) After applying fusible interlining to the simple belt, the upper part of the tie ribbon, the hanging part of the tie ribbon, and the core of the tie ribbon, shape them with an iron and stitch around to create the shape.

(3) Stitch the velcro to the position of the velcro on the simple belt.
