This is a free sewing pattern for a high-waist skirt, designed with seam allowances included for beginners.
In cosplay costume making, waist position often becomes an issue because the proportions in 2D illustrations and 3D reality can differ greatly. To achieve a look closer to the original design, high-heeled boots are often worn.
Another way to enhance the visual impression is to adjust the costume so the waistline appears higher. This can help create a taller and more flattering silhouette.
The pattern is a simple six-panel skirt without darts, making it easy to sew. For cosplay use, you can use this base pattern to create a skirt that gives the appearance of a higher waistline.
If you plan to wear it as everyday clothing, please draft and use a separate lining pattern for a more comfortable finish.
This skirt uses a 22 cm (8.6 inch) invisible zipper. After printing, align the pages at the join lines, cut, and use the pattern as it already includes seam allowances.
The production process is explained with translation software.
