This is a free sewing pattern for a gored skirt, a design made by joining multiple panels to create a flared silhouette.
The skirt features a lovely flare that widens toward the hem, giving it a soft and elegant look. While "gored skirt" is the technical term, it can also be thought of as a "flower skirt" for its petal-like shape.
This pattern works well for cosplay costumes where you want to add fullness to the hem, as well as for everyday skirts. Depending on the fabric, you may want to draft a separate lining pattern for a professional finish.
Since there are no darts or pleats, the construction is simple—just sew the panels together. The pattern is designed for use with a 22cm (9") concealed zipper.
After printing, align the join lines and cut along them. The pattern includes seam allowances (S/A), so it can be used immediately without additional adjustments.
The production process is explained with translation software.
