Simple sewing instructions are written on the pattern paper.
This is a baggy shirt pattern that flares toward the hem.
The shape is an A-line shirt.
The armholes are slightly large, and the design has a roomy fit.
Decoration pattern pieces and decoration attachment positions are also included.
After printing, align the pages along the guide lines, paste them together, and cut out the pattern pieces. Seam allowances are included, so you can use the pattern as-is.
(1) Finish the shoulder and side edges of the front bodice. Finish the shoulder edges, side edges, and center back edge of the back bodice.
How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)
(2) Sew the center back seam of the back bodice together. Press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(3) Topstitch the decorations to each decoration attachment position.
(4) Sew the shoulder seams and side seams of the bodice together. Press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(5) Finish the hem edge of the bodice and fold it inward by 1 cm (0.5 in). Fold the fold lines on the front side of the bodice inward at two positions.
* When folding the two front positions, also fold the hem inward.
(6) Stitch the folded front section in place, including the hem.
(7) Apply fusible interfacing to the collar and collar stand.
(8) Place the collar pieces right sides together and sew them together. Turn the collar right side out and shape it with an iron.
(9) Place the collar stand pieces right sides together. Insert the collar at the collar position and sew them together. Turn right side out and secure with topstitching.
(10) Sew the collar stand to the bodice while sandwiching the bodice with the collar stand.
* It is easier to sew if the seam allowance of the collar stand is folded inward by 1 cm (0.5 in) with an iron first.
(11) Finish the side edges and hem edges of the sleeves. Sew the sleeve side seams together, and press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(12) Sew the sleeve side seams and press the seam allowances open with an iron. Fold the sleeve hems inward by 1 cm (0.5 in), and topstitch with a sewing machine.
(13) Sew the sleeves to the bodice, and finish the armholes.
(14) Make buttonholes and sew on buttons.
