A simple stand-collar blouse (short sleeves) sewing pattern and instructions. This design has no darts and is made by sewing the pieces together.
The shape has minimal waist curve and is drafted as a unisex pattern.
The men's size pattern has a wider shoulder width.
After printing, align the matching lines, tape the pages together, and cut out the pattern. Seam allowances are already included, so you can use the pattern as it is.

(1) Serge/overlock the shoulders and sides of the front and back bodice, sew them together with a sewing machine, and press the seam allowances open with an iron.

(2) Apply fusible interfacing to the collar.
(3) Sew the collar pieces together, turn it inside out, and press it into shape with an iron.

(4) Fold the front placket along the fold line (marked on the pattern) and press to keep the shape.
(5) Serge/overlock the hem of the bodice, fold up 1 cm (3/8 in), and sew with a sewing machine.
*Fold the hem inward for a clean finish.
(6) Insert the bodice between the collar layers and sew them together.
*Trim the upper corners of the front bodice and fold them inward for a clean finish.
(7) Serge/overlock the underarm seam of the sleeves, sew them together, and press seam allowances open with an iron.

(8) Serge/overlock the sleeve hem, fold up 1 cm (3/8 in), and sew with a sewing machine.
(9) Attach the sleeves to the bodice and serge/overlock the armholes.
(10) Make the buttonholes and sew on the buttons.
