Here is a free sewing pattern and instructions for making Aladdin pants without side seams.
Aladdin pants, sometimes called Arabian pants, are the loose trousers often seen in Arabian Nights stories and Aladdin-style animations.
This design is inspired by anime-style costumes rather than authentic traditional Arabian pants.
It is intended for cosplay and costume-making purposes, not for creating an official traditional garment.
Using soft, drapey fabrics will create a fluffy and cute silhouette.
The pants are made with elastic at both the waist and the ankles. You can adjust the pattern length to suit your style or image.
For fabrics with a nice drape, it often looks cuter when the length is enough to cover the ankle elastic.
After printing, join the sheets along the dotted lines, then cut out the pattern pieces.
The pattern already includes seam allowance (S/A), so it is ready to use as printed.
(1) After serging the inseam of the body, sew them together and press the seam allowances open with an iron.

(2) Sew the crotch of the body together, serge the seam, and press the seam allowances to one side with an iron.
(3) Finish around the ankle with bias tape.
* Thread the elastic through the bias tape at the ankle.
(4) Attach the belt and thread the elastic inside.
* A wide elastic band is recommended for the waist.
