This is a sewing pattern and tutorial for a simple turtleneck top.
Please use knit fabric or other stretch materials, such as two-way stretch fabric, when making this garment.
The body length is slightly shorter than standard styles, so please adjust the paper pattern to fit your body before cutting the fabric.
After printing, align the joining lines, tape the pages together, and cut out the pattern pieces. Seam allowances are already included, so you can use the pattern as it is.
(1) Sew the shoulder and side seams of the "Front Body" and "Back Body" together, then finish the raw edges.
How to Finish Raw Edges (Serge / Overlock)
(2) Sew the underarm seams of the "Sleeves" together, then finish the raw edges.
(3) Finish the raw edges of the body hem and sleeve hems. Fold them inward 1 cm (about 3/8 inch) and sew with a sewing machine.
(4) Attach the "Sleeves" to the "Body", then finish the armholes.
(5) Sew the "Neck" piece into a loop.
(6) Fold the "Neck" in half lengthwise and attach it by sandwiching it within the seam allowance.
* If it is difficult to sandwich the "Neck", sew it from the wrong side and finish the raw edges.
