This is a pattern for a summer dress with four box pleats to add volume to the skirt.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

The production process is explained with translation software.

(1) Fold the "Shoulder straps" with an iron, sew them together with a stitch, and finish the "Shoulder straps" first.

(2) Apply Fusible interlining to the “Front facing” and “Back facing,” sew them together, press seam allowances open with an iron, and serge the outer edge of the facing.

How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)

(3) Serge/overlock the sides of the “Front bodice side,” “Front bodice,” “Back bodice side,” and “Back bodice,” and sew them together except for the invisible zip insertion point.

* The serging/overlocking of the zipper edge in the center of the “Back bodice” should be done after sewing the “bodice” and “skirt” together.

(4) Serge/overlock the sides of the "skirt" and sew them together except for the invisible zip insertion point.

(5) Sew the Stitching position of the "bodice," open the seam allowances, and secure them with a stitch.

(6) Align and sew the side seams of the "bodice," serge/overlock the "skirt," and press it downward with an iron.

(7) Serge/overlock the invisible zip insertion point together, and apply stay tape to the invisible zip insertion point.

How to use stay tape

(8) Sew up to the Sewing end position of the "skirt," press seam allowances open with an iron, and sew the invisible zip into the zipper position.

(9) Sew the "bodice" while sandwiching the “Shoulder straps” with the "facing".

* Pay attention to the direction when sandwiching the “Shoulder straps”.

* Check the length of the “Shoulder straps” before sewing them.

(10) Serge/overlock the hem of the "skirt," fold it up with an iron, and sew it with a machine.
