This is a free sewing pattern and tutorial for a short box pleat skirt with 8 pleats, designed for easy construction and a flattering fit.
The skirt uses an exposed zipper for a simple finish, making it beginner-friendly. Since the pleats and the main body are made as separate pieces, the sewing process is straightforward.
This pattern was originally drafted for a cheerleader uniform, so it pairs perfectly with our cheerleader top pattern for a complete outfit.
After printing, align the pages along the guide lines, cut along the edges, and the pattern is ready to use. All patterns include seam allowances (S/A) so you can start sewing immediately.
Ideal for casual wear, costume making, school uniforms, or cheerleading outfits, this skirt pattern can be adapted to various fabrics and lengths.
The production process is explained with translation software.
