(1) Stitch the darts on the "Front bodice" and "Back bodice", then iron and fold the seam towards the center.
(2) Attach the "pocket" to the designated position.
* Depending on your preference, you can attach the "pocket" on one side or both sides.
(3) Serge/overlock the front "Back bodice" shoulder and side, then stitch them together and press open the seam allowance with an iron.
How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)
(4) Apply fusible interlining to the "Collar" and "Collar stand".
(5) Align the "Collar" with right sides together, stitch along the "Collar stand" part, flip it inside out, and iron.
* When flipping, cut the tip of the seam allowance (S/A) by about 2mm.
(6) Align the "Collar stand" with right sides together, sandwich the "Collar" in between, stitch together, flip it inside out, and secure with topstitching.
* It's easier to sandwich the "Collar" stand if you first fold the seam allowance (S/A) by 1cm (0.5in) with an iron on the side where it attaches to the "Body".
(7) Iron the fold lines on the "Front bodice" twice and stitch them in place.
* You can fold the lines either towards the front or back, whichever you prefer.
(8) Iron the 3fold lines on the "Front bodice" and stitch them in place with topstitching.
(9) Sandwich the "Body" between the "Collar stand" and sew on a sewing machine.
(10) Serge/overlock the sides of the "Sleeve", stitch them together, press open the seam allowance with an iron, insert gathers at the gathering positions.
(11) Apply fusible interlining to the Lower sleeve edge, stitch the sides together, fold and tuck the seam allowance (S/A) by 1cm (0.5in) to create a sandwichable state.
(12) Attach the Lower sleeve edge to the hem of the "Sleeve".
(13) Attach the "Sleeve" to the "Body" and serge/overlock.
(14) Process the hem of the "Body" with bias tape or serge/overlock, then fold up by 1cm (0.5in) and sew on a sewing machine.
(15) Create buttonholes and sew on the buttons.
