Plague mask Sewing Patterns | DRCOS Patterns & How To Make

This is a pattern for a plague doctor mask, suitable for cosplay or Halloween.

When made with synthetic leather or authentic leather, it can look very cool.

During Halloween, it's also recommended to wear this mask over a regular mask as a mask cover.

Please note that this plague doctor mask does not provide any protective effects like a regular mask.

It's simply a hollow structure intended for cosplay purposes only.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

The production process is explained with translation software.

(1) Apply stiff fusible interlining to the chin and nose parts.

* Be sure to use stiff interlining suitable for bags, etc.

(2) Create creases with an iron along the folding lines of the chin and nose parts.

* Make cuts in the hanging parts of the fabric before folding.

(3) Stitch around the edges of the chin and nose parts with edge stitching.

(4) Mark the sewing hole positions with an awl and punch holes with a punch.

* When using a rotary punch, punch holes with a diameter of 2mm.

(5) Insert eyelet holes at the eyelet positions and attach eyelets.

* The eyelets used in the prototype photos have an inner diameter of 10mm.

(6) Fold each "belt" at 5mm and stitch with a sewing machine.

(7) Prepare 3.5mm holes at the rivet positions, and 2mm holes at the tuck rod holes and "belt" holes.

(8) Lace up the sewing holes with waxed cord to secure.

* 1mm waxed cord was used in the prototype photos.

(9) Secure the end by passing the clasp and corner ring through the "belt" and stitching.

(10) Apply rivets at the rivet positions to secure.

* Rivets attached to the mask should be lightly struck to allow movement.
