This is a free sewing pattern for an integrated face mask made from knit fabric, designed without elastic bands. Seam allowances are already included, so you can use the pattern as is.
The mask is made with raw-cut edges, so choose fabrics that do not fray easily after cutting. The sample mask in the photos is made from polyester smooth knit, which is recommended for its resistance to fraying.
The simple construction involves placing non-woven fabric inside, sewing the front seam, and securing the edges with a zigzag stitch. The ear openings are cut in a wide curve toward the cheeks, acting as slits to reduce the common side gaps found in many masks.
This design fits comfortably and minimizes gaps on the sides of the face. For fabrics with high stretch, it is safer to add a row of stitches around the edges using Resilon or other stretch thread.
After printing, align the pages along the join lines, cut, and use the pattern directly since the seam allowances are already included.
The production process is explained with translation software.
