This is a free sewing pattern for a long cape, designed with seam allowances included for beginners.
The shape is very simple, and if you make it as is, it may actually be easier than sewing a dishcloth—just on a larger scale. This makes it a great base pattern for cosplay costumes that can be customized to suit your design.
Although the pattern is straightforward, drafting large pieces can be tricky without large curve rulers, consistent angles, and matching side seam lengths. Having this ready-made pattern saves time and effort.
You can customize it by adding buttons, faux fur trims, or other decorative elements to create a unique style.
After printing, align the pages along the join lines, cut, and use the pattern directly since the seam allowances are already included.
The production process is explained with translation software.
