This is a free sewing pattern for knickerbockers—knee-length trousers with gathered hems—designed with seam allowances included for beginners.
Knickerbockers are also known as knicker pants or nickapockas in some regions, but the correct term refers to this style of trousers. This pattern features a basic front-zipper construction and can also serve as a base for slightly longer short pants.
While the design itself is straightforward, sewing trousers can involve some challenging steps. Beginners are advised to refer to a sewing reference book for guidance.
After printing, align the pages along the join lines, cut, and use the pattern directly since the seam allowances are already included.
The production process is explained with translation software.
