This is a free sewing pattern for a hooded coat without buttons or zippers, designed as a simple outer layer.

The minimalist shape makes it a versatile base that can be customized for cosplay costumes or adapted into various coat designs.

The pattern includes a relaxed fit, so feel free to adjust the lines to suit the specific costume or look you are creating. Pockets are included as placeholders and can be replaced with styles that match your design.

This is an unlined coat pattern intended primarily as a cosplay reference. For a daily-wear coat, we recommend adding a proper lining, buttons, or zippers for durability and functionality.

After printing, align and paste the pages along the matching lines, then cut along the pattern. Seam allowances are already included, so you can start sewing immediately.

How to make

The production process is explained with translation software.

If you have any suggestions on how to write like this, please let us know at info@dr-cos.com

We operate this site with your cooperation.

(1) Sew "Pocket" to the pocket position on the "Front Body".

* The "Pocket" is the simplest one, but you can omit it if you don't need it.

(2) Serging the sides and shoulders of "Front Body" and "Back Body" and sewing them together, press seam allowances open with an iron.

(3) Serging the center line of "Hood" and both sides of "Sleeve", sew them together and press seam allowances open with an iron.

(4) Sew the "Hood" to the "Body", Serging and press seam allowances open with an iron.

(5) Serging all around the "Body" and the hem of the "Sleeve".

(6) Fold the hem of the "Sleeve" and all around the "Body" by 0.5" with an iron and sew it with a sewing machine.

(7) Attach the "Sleeve" to the "Body" and Serging.
