This is a free sewing pattern for a cocoon silhouette Chester coat with a tailored collar.
The sleeves are made from two pieces with easing, giving them a professional finish. While the design appears simple, the sewing difficulty is relatively high, making it a rewarding project for intermediate to advanced sewists.
We recommend using thicker winter fabrics such as brushed wool or other materials with enough structure to highlight the cocoon silhouette, rather than thin fabrics suited for early autumn.
This is an unlined coat pattern. For those who wish to add a lining, a facing line is included on the pattern. After cutting the body fabric, add a 1 cm seam allowance to the body pattern when cutting the lining fabric.
After printing, align and paste the pages along the matching lines, then cut along the pattern. Seam allowances are already included, so you can start sewing right away.
Perfect for creating stylish outerwear for winter fashion, this Chester coat pattern is ideal for those who enjoy high-quality handmade clothing.
The production process is explained with translation software.
