This free sewing pattern is for a classic trapezoid skirt, featuring four darts on both the front and back to create a flattering, body-contouring fit. Unlike flared skirts, this design offers a slightly more tailored silhouette, making it suitable for both casual and formal outfits.
The simple yet elegant shape makes it easy to style for various occasions—pair it with a blouse for office wear, a knit top for everyday casual, or a corset for cosplay and costume designs.
A 22 cm (9-inch) invisible zipper is required for construction. Seam allowances are already included in the pattern, so you can cut and sew directly without modifications. After printing, align the pages along the matching lines, tape them together, and then cut out your fabric pieces.
This pattern is ideal for intermediate beginners looking to expand their sewing skills while making a versatile skirt that can be worn in multiple styles.
The production process is explained with translation software.
