This is a free sewing pattern for a tight flared skirt, designed with a slim silhouette that gently widens toward the hem. Unlike a wide flare skirt, this style offers a sleek and elegant look while still allowing comfortable movement.
The simple, clean lines make it suitable for both casual wear and formal occasions. It can be paired with blouses, shirts, or knit tops for workwear, or styled with dressy tops for evening outfits.
The pattern includes full instructions and is beginner-friendly, with built-in seam allowance (S/A) so you can use it as is. A 22 cm (9 inch) invisible zipper is required for construction.
After printing, align the joining lines, cut out the pieces, and sew following the steps. Medium-weight fabrics such as cotton sateen, twill, or lightweight wool are recommended for a structured yet soft drape.
The production process is explained with translation software.
