Here is the pattern for a basic straight pants with standard side pockets and back pockets.

The back features double piping pockets, making it slightly more challenging, but it's a fundamental design worth learning.

It's also recommended as a base for modifications.

The rise is shallow, so please double-check the measurements carefully.

The inseam is slightly longer, so adjust it to fit yourself at the pattern stage.

(1) Sew the darts on the body and iron the seam towards the center.

(7) Attach fusible interlining to the belt and sew it together.
