Here is the pattern for a simple A-line dress with a square neckline, as requested by many.

It's a simple A-line dress, so it should also serve as an ideal base pattern.

(1) Serge/overlock the shoulder and side of the front "Back bodice" and the side of the "Sleeve."

(6) Temporarily sew the "facing" to the "Body."

(7) Apply fusible interlining to the decorative part around the neck, sew it together on the inside, turn it inside out, and iron to fold it neatly.

(8) Apply fusible interlining to the "Cuff," sew it together into a loop, then fold along the center line and attach it to the "Sleeve" with an iron.

(9) Fold the seam allowance (S/A) of the hem of the "Body" to the front, sew the front and back of the hem decoration together, fold the seam allowance (S/A) with an iron, attach it to the "Body," and sew the hem.

(10) Attach the "Sleeve" to the "Body" and serge/overlock the armhole.
