This is a free sewing pattern and tutorial for loose-fit salopette (wide-leg overalls).
The silhouette is slightly wide for a relaxed and comfortable fit. You can add decorative topstitching or other embellishments to personalize the design.
Unlike traditional overalls, the back is held by crossed straps, making the construction simpler and suitable for beginners. It can also be worn as cozy loungewear.
The shoulder straps and inseam are drafted slightly longer, so you can adjust them to your preferred fit. A soft denim fabric with a slight drape works particularly well for this design.
Use topstitch thread for a cute, finished look. The pattern already includes seam allowances. Once printed, cut along the join lines and start sewing.
The production process is explained with translation software.

(1) Serging all fabrics except the belt first.
(2) Iron the fabric, including the belt, into shape first.
(3) Sew "Back Poket" onto "Back Bodice", then sew the front and back of "Front Bodice" and "Back Bodice" together, and press seam allowances open with an iron.
(4) Sew "Facing" and "Fly Extension" and make buttonholes.
(5) Sew the inseam together with decorative stitching.
(6) Stitch the crotch in two layers and sew between the belt and the crotch.
(7) Stitch "Shoulder Strap" between "Back Waist Band" and "Shoulder Strap.
(8) Sew the "Front Poket" to the "Front Bodice Top Part" and sew between the belt.
(9) Attach buttons and thread hardware through "Shoulder Strap.
* Decorative stitches can be added to the sides and inseam of the pants part to make it prettier.
* We recommend that the thread for the decorative stitches and buttonholes be a different color from the fabric.
* Use stitching thread for stitches.
