This is a sewing pattern for a loose-fit dolman shirt. It was created based on requests from many users.
The sleeves are wide and comfortable, and the shirt is designed to be worn easily by pulling it over the head. It creates a relaxed and oversized silhouette.
The finished look can change a lot depending on the fabric you choose. A firm fabric will create a structured silhouette, while a soft fabric will give the shirt a more relaxed and natural drape.
This dolman shirt has a very simple construction with no sleeve seam, which makes it easier to sew compared to many other shirt designs.
The loose design makes it suitable as comfortable loungewear or a casual shirt for spring.
The pattern includes a small opening at the chest, but the overall construction is basic, so it can also be used as a base pattern for customization or design modifications.
After printing the pattern, align the joining lines, tape the pages together, and cut out the pieces.
Seam allowances are already included in the pattern pieces, so you can use them as they are.
(1) Apply fusible interfacing to the front and back facing pieces.
(2) Sew the facing pieces together, press the seam allowances open with an iron, and finish the outer edges.
