This free sewing pattern is for a detachable (fake) collar designed to look like you are wearing a layered shirt. It is a stand-collar type, which makes it slightly more challenging to sew, but it also offers a polished and realistic appearance.
The base design is perfect for customization—change the collar shape, add lace trims, or decorate with embroidery to match your personal style. This makes it an excellent accessory for everyday wear, cosplay costumes, or special outfits.
The collar is drafted with precise neck measurements, so you can choose to make it fit snugly to your own neck or allow extra ease for comfort. Adjusting the size is simple during the sewing process.
The pattern includes seam allowances, so after printing, simply align the pages along the guide marks, tape them together, and cut out the pieces. This project is suitable for intermediate sewists who want to make a stylish and versatile accessory.
The production process is explained with translation software.
