This is a sewing pattern for a cloche hat (bell-shaped) with a rounded top, made from six top panels to create a smooth curved shape.
It can be used as a base pattern, allowing you to adjust the depth of the hat and make various design arrangements.
Perfect as an everyday accessory and also useful as a reference pattern for cosplay costume-making.
After printing, align and paste the pages along the matching lines, then cut along the pattern. Seam allowances are already included, so you can start sewing immediately.
* If the fabric is thin, apply fusible interfacing to the lining.
* After stitching, trim the seam allowance.
(1) Sew two top pieces together, open the seam allowance, and topstitch.
(2) Sew another top piece to (1), and topstitch in the same way.
(3) Repeat steps (1) and (2) with the remaining three pieces to make two half-circle parts.
(4) Sew the two half-circle parts together, open the seam allowance, and topstitch.
(5) Sew the sides of the brim together and press the seam allowance open with stitching.
(6) Attach the brim to the top.
* Repeat steps (1) to (6) for the lining.
(7) Fold the edge of the outer and lining brims 1 cm with an iron, then stitch them together.
