This 240-degree circular skirt pattern was created in response to requests for skirts with different amounts of fullness and adjustable lengths.
Length adjustment lines are included from short to long length, so you can choose the finished length that best matches your design.
The pattern can be used as-is to make a skirt, or modified as a base pattern.
With a 240-degree circular line, this design creates a fuller silhouette with more flare.
DRCOS also offers circular skirt patterns from 150 degrees to 720 degrees, so select the angle that best matches the skirt you want to make.
Only the skirt pattern is included.
A fabric requirement guide is not included because the amount of fabric needed varies greatly depending on the selected skirt length.
For a long length, the fabric may not be wide enough. In that case, add a seam allowance at the fold line and divide the pattern piece.
After printing, align the pages along the guide lines, paste them together, and cut out the pattern pieces. Seam allowances are included, so you can use the pattern as-is.
*Please press all sewn seams with an iron.
(1) Finish the raw edges of both side edges of the skirt.
How to Serge/overlock (sewing machine & overlock sewing machine)
(2) Apply stay tape to one zipper attachment side.
(3) Sew the zipper opening seam up to the stitch stop mark, then press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(4) Attach the concealed zipper.
(5) Sew the opposite side seam, then press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(6) Finish the raw edge of the skirt hem. Fold the hem up 1 cm (0.5 in), press with an iron, and topstitch it in place.
(7) Apply fusible interfacing to the Waistband.
(8) Fold both side edges of the Waistband inward by 1 cm (0.5 in), then press with an iron to shape the folds.
(9) Fold the Waistband along the center line.
*At this time, press with an iron so that one side extends about 1 mm beyond the other side.
(10) Sew the short ends of the Waistband, then turn it right side out.
(11) Match it to the skirt at the basting position and sew in place.
(12) Attach a hook or a button.
