How to make a furry bulb

Long furry bulbs are cute, aren't they?

However, commercially available products may be expensive or not available in the size you want. In many cases, you may be surprised to find that there are no products on the market that match your needs.

In such cases, the best way is to make them yourself. We will show you how to make a furry bulb that is easy and looks the part.

Cutting fur fabric into a circle to make a furry bulb

First, cut the fur fabric into a circle. Feel free to decide on the size you want to make.

The fabric is turned over for clarity. Running stitch around the fur fabric.

Use two strands of thread. Knots should be large. Fur fabrics have a coarse texture, so small knots will come loose.

Pull the thread with the needle still attached to bring the fabric to the center.

To the point where it becomes fluffy and round, squeeze the thread.

Fill the fur with cotton. There is no specific amount of cotton, so it is up to you to decide how much you want to use.

Pull and squeeze as close to the end as possible. Pinch the thread so that it does not come loose.

Pinch the thread and hold it down. Sew as shown in the image to sew the cloth in place. If there is a hole, the cotton will be visible from the outside. Please sew back and forth several times so that the cotton is not visible.

Finish by trimming the fur ends using needlepoint.

A single piece of fabric cannot be stitched into a beautiful spherical shape, but with fur fabrics, the longer pile is enough to create a beautiful spherical shape.
