This is a free sewing pattern for a short-sleeved front button dress, also known as a shirt dress.
The design is simple and versatile, making it perfect for everyday wear or as a base for customizing into cosplay costumes.
The pattern does not include waist darts, giving the dress a relaxed fit. For a more fitted silhouette, adjust the back pattern by adding darts or modifying the lines.
The collar is designed with a shawl collar style, but you can remove it and draft a facing instead if you prefer a simpler neckline.
This pattern is suitable for various fabrics, from cotton for casual wear to lightweight blends for summer dresses.
After printing, align the join lines and cut along them. The paper pattern includes seam allowances (S/A), so it is ready to use as is.
The production process is explained with translation software.
