This is a pattern for a sailor collar commonly seen in anime and similar media.

Creating one to match your exact image can be challenging, so this pattern is ideal as a base for your creations.

Designed to fit the body, feel free to adjust the shape to match your desired image.

As it's a longer, more elongated style, it should be relatively easy to work with during the fabrication process.

A key point is that the neckline is narrower, so while an open zipper at the back is included, a concealed zipper would work just as well since it only needs to fit over the head.

If you're concerned about the back, you can modify it to have a front zipper for your convenience.

After printing, paste it according to the pasting line,Cut and use.

The pattern has a seam allowance, so it can be used as is.

*If the fabric is thin or if you want extra stiffness, apply fusible interlining to the lining.

(1) Attach the "Collar stand" to the sailor "Collar", make cuts in the seam allowance (S/A), and press the seam allowances open with an iron.

(2) Fold back the seam allowance (S/A) of the zipper attachment position by 1cm.

(3) Open the zipper section, sew right sides together, cut off the unnecessary parts at the end, and make cuts in the seam allowance (S/A).

(4) Turn inside out from the zipper section and shape with an iron.

*If the material is difficult to shape with an iron, use topstitch to secure.

(5) Sew on the open zipper while closing the zipper section.
