(1) Serge/overlock (or zigzag stitch) the edges of the "Crown side," sew them together, and make it into a loop.
How to Serge/Overlock (edge finishing)
(2) Sew the "Brim" pieces together and make them into loops (for both pieces).
(3) Press the seam allowances open with an iron.
(4) Sew the "Top crown" to the "Crown side," then finish the seam allowances with serging (zigzag stitch).
(5) Sew the two "Brim" pieces together around the outer edge, trim the seam allowance leaving about 2 mm, and turn it inside out.
(6) Sew the "Crown side" and the "Brim" together, finish the seam allowance with serging (zigzag stitch), and complete the hat.
